Once upon a full moon
Dear reader,
I share with you the thoughts that came to me while watching the August 3 2020 full moon in my studio in Houston TX as the moon started to show covered in a shroud of swirling clouds making a otherworldly image of a cat's or a dragon's eye.
Knowing that they are suns, planets, moons, kept in check by gravity and physics and chemistry, etc,. Why do we as humans look at them as gods, angels, spirits, sprites. For how else do we continue to make a wish when we stand before them?
Enjoy the read and the drawing

Once upon a Full Moon
After sunset
Tonight she starts
Among the clouds
Hidden
A hunter in the woods
A dancer peeking through the drapery
Her rays reveal to the looker
She lazily opens her eye
A cat's eye this night
She is wide awake now, her eye is full
A love to behold
In a reverie she playfully rises to join her starry friends
Are they only worlds?
All mathematically ordered?
The closer the brighter?
She dances with them all night long
And I make a wish.
